The Estate is located in a tranquil and quiet rural setting midway between the villages of Fettercairn and Laurencekirk in the fertile farming area of the Howe of the Mearns. 

 

The property is about 45 minutes’ drive south of Aberdeen off the main A90. Edinburgh is 2 hours to the south. Both cities have domestic and international airports. Royal Deeside is about 20 minutes away, across the Cairn O’Mount pass.

Laurencekirk railway station (1 ½ miles away) is on the main line between Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Montrose (12 ½ miles) provides a more frequent direct service further afield.
